Branding and brand identity

One brand. Everywhere. Not five versions of it.

Most brands don't fail, they drift. A different look on social, another on the website, something else in print. We build you one clear identity and the simple rules to keep it that way, so every euro you spend on marketing builds the same recognition instead of starting over.

"When a brand already knows who it is, you don't invent something new. You listen closely enough to make what they already are visible."

Michaela, Design & Webflow Lead
Is this you?

The brand didn't fail. It just drifted.

Your website, social, and print all look like different companies.

Nobody can say what your brand actually looks like without opening an old file.

The identity feels dated, or no longer matches where the business is going.

Every new post or flyer starts a small argument about fonts and colours.

You're about to spend real money on campaigns and the visuals aren't ready.

The brand undersells a business you know is good.

If a few of these sound familiar, something needs to change. Sometimes that's one clear version of the brand you already have. Sometimes it's a proper identity built from scratch. Tell us about your brand and we'll give you an honest read on what it needs.

Not sure you need a full rebrand?

I'm Mike. Send me what you have and where the business is heading, and I'll tell you honestly whether a refresh is enough or a full identity makes sense. Often it's the refresh, and that's a cheaper answer. No cost, no pitch.

What we do

We start with what the brand already is.

The visuals are the easy part. What makes a brand hold together is the thinking underneath, so we do that first: who you are, who you're for, and what makes you the obvious choice. Then we design.

Strategy first

Positioning, audience, and the few messages that matter, written in your words, not corporate language.

One visual system

Logo, colour, type, and layout rules that work as a set, not as separate decisions made months apart.

Tools your team can use

Templates for social, decks, and print, so people who aren't designers can still produce on-brand work.

Yours to keep

Organised source files, export presets, and a Loom walkthrough. You own everything, no dependency on us.

Who you'll work with

Two people. No layers in between.

The same two of us, from the first conversation to the final handover. No junior does your logo while a senior presents it.

Process

Three to six weeks. One clear brand.

Fixed steps and shared decisions, so you always know where the project stands and what's next.

Step 1

Discover and define

An audit of what you have, plus goals, audience, and positioning. We agree what the brand needs to say before we draw anything.

Step 2

Direction and concepts

Moodboards and creative routes. You choose a direction early, so the detailed work happens on something you already believe in.

Step 3

Identity and system

Logo suite, colour, type, and layout rules. We show them applied to the channels you actually use, not floating on a white page.

Step 4

Guidelines and handover

Brand guide, templates, organised files, and a walkthrough so your team can run it without us.

Most identity projects take three to six weeks depending on scope. From you it's a workshop, a direction call, and feedback at two agreed points.
Why it matters

A brand that works everywhere, every time.

When the system is built with intention, every touchpoint starts working for you instead of against you.

Recognition that compounds

Every channel reads as the same brand, so attention builds instead of resetting with each post.

Faster production

Reusable templates and components mean less time deciding and more time publishing.

Ready for paid

A coherent visual system to put ad budget behind with confidence.

Fewer arguments

Clear rules end the recurring debates about fonts, colours, and logo placement.

Room to grow

The system scales from a social post to a billboard without needing a redesign.

Full ownership

Source files, presets, and guidelines are yours, shareable with any designer or agency you work with later.

Pricing

Prices you can see before you talk to anyone.

Two ways in, depending on whether you need a refresh or the full system. Every project is scoped to you, but here's the shape and the starting price.

Every project is scoped to your goals. If something on this list isn't worth your money, we'll say so on the call. And when a quote goes above the "from" price, you'll see exactly why, with the reason attached to the number.

Doing a brand and a website together? Most founders do, and it's cheaper and faster in one go than as two separate projects. Tell us both on the call and we'll quote them as one.
Frequently asked questions

The questions founders actually ask.

What does branding actually include?

More than a logo. It is the whole system that shapes how people see your business: positioning and messaging, logo and marks, colour, typography, layout rules, and templates your team can use. The logo is one piece. The system is what keeps everything looking like you.

I already have a logo. Do I still need branding?

A logo is one piece of the puzzle. Branding is how colour, type, imagery, and tone work together so everything you publish looks like it came from the same company. If your materials feel inconsistent, or the brand no longer feels like you, the logo is rarely the problem. The missing system is.

Can you refresh what we have instead of starting over?

Often that is the better answer, and we will say so. A refresh keeps what is already working and fixes what is not, whether that is a dated logo, a colour system that falls apart in practice, or the absence of proper guidelines. We will look at what you have and tell you honestly which level of work it needs.

How long does a branding project take?

Three to six weeks depending on scope, covering discovery, positioning, creative direction, refinement, and final delivery of all assets and guidelines. You are part of the process at agreed points, so nothing arrives as a surprise at the end.

What is the difference between branding and graphic design?

Branding defines who you are and the rules for how everything looks and sounds. Graphic design applies those rules to specific pieces such as social posts, presentations, packaging, or ads. Branding is the system. Graphic design is the output.

Will I get guidelines I can share with other designers?

Yes. Every project includes a guideline document covering logo usage, colour codes, typography, spacing rules, and the dos and don'ts. Any designer or agency you work with later can pick it up and stay on brand without guessing.

Do we own the source files?

Completely. Source files, export presets, and guidelines are all yours, delivered organised and clearly named. You are never dependent on us to produce your own materials.

Can we do the brand and the website together?

Most founders do, and it is faster and cheaper as one project than as two. The brand work feeds directly into the site design instead of being translated across a handover. Tell us both on the call and we will scope them together.
